Maharani Handicraft is an exporter offering unique and premium crafts that work as ‘jewelry for the home’. Consumers can find home decor and accessories in natural materials such as stone, metal, wood that have been created using hand-made techniques. The resulting style can be described as ‘precious, delicate and mysterious’, but Maharani Craft is also not afraid to be chunky and rough, especially in its desk ranges.
Since 29 October 2005 CV. Maharani has been a producer and exporter company of accessories, silver jewelries in ethnic and contemporary design, then crossed over to Home, bringing with you the creativity, fashion sense and precious techniques that are typical of jewelry and that have formed your signature also in Home.
Maharani works with more less 10 of producer groups in and around Bali. With them, we have had a long-standing relationship from the time we were engaged in jewelry, some are more recent. We are trying to build longer-term partnership based on mutual benefits. We are trying to explore materials and techniques with the craftsmen and women, to see if design can help us develop more and better markets. After a long period of marketing into lower-end volume market in the 1990s, our new strategy is to look for markets that appreciate value, both in terms of design and service, but also social and environmental values. Maharani has been working on certified wood and already got the VLK certification this year, ensuring our wood to be traceable. Also, with the help of CBI, finally we can get Fair Trade Certification for the period of 2018 -2019 and we are on process to extend the certification this year.
We are keen to learn from buyers what values are appreciated by them and to what extent we can work along with them in adding new values to our identity. This far, our identity states: Using jewelry technique to natural material to be more precious.

LAUNCH MANIKA JEWELLERY – DECEMBER 2015
Since December 2015, Maharani was launching a new Jewellery line called Manika, we have joined the Indonesia Fashion Week 2015, and then Pak Samuel Watimena the curator was choose Manika to be in INACRAFT 2016 as a unique Jewellery.
Really exciting that we got INACRAFT AWARD and FEMINA AWARD at the same time.

Maharani works with 3 main supplier,
- Stone supplier – Pak Parji has been working more than 20 years with us
- Jewelry maker – Wayan has been working since 1984 – 2 generations
- Shell Craft supplier – Pak Samsul also has been working since 1990

Our special product is Door Knobs made of stone and shells combine with Brass, other product is Kitchen, Tabletop and Decoration.
This new Door Knobs was launched in Ambiente 2017 in Fair Trade Finest Booth in CBI Pavillion with other Fair Trade company from Africa, Madagaskar, and Bangladesh, and after that we were joined Exhibition in Jakarta that is IFEX-International Furniture Exhibition and TEI-Trade Expo Indonesia.
Our main customer is Anthropologie and CB2 from USA, it means Maharani also has been audited by third party for Factory Evaluation and Social compliance.
That is our profile, and looking forward to build relationship with another Buyer Internationally as we have proven our capability.

Maharani is Bali products and handicraft shop. We’re an established local company in Bali with extensive experience in handicraft and jewelry productions for overseas markets. We sell many kinds of interesting and unique crafts.
Because our concept is jewelry for the home, our products are very lux and it is proudly handmade, precious, delicate, bringing mysterious vibe yet chunky, raw and rough.
Some of our products, for example, knobs are made of raw stones such as agat, druzi, obsidian, shell and petrified woods are handmade and use only local product. The production process itself is located in pacitan, east Java. We’ve been working with this family for 3 generations and we are still taking care of our relationship with our supplier very well by giving them educations about how to keep the place clean and tidy to make the process more effective and explain bout diagram production process of stone production….. we also have another supplier in bali, wayan in gianyar. Since we are transparent to our customers, they are welcome to come and see the process. At the moment we got visited by NOOSA for their video project. Other then giving educating, we help them to renovate their working place.
One of the production process is to make the sketch of the design on paper.
This is our first launch in ambiente, germany. We also went to some exhibition.
We also work together with anthropologie.
